The word "kabala" stems from the Hebrew root word "kabel," which means "to receive." To function on a mystical, kabalistic level, you have to be willing to let things in and to accept forces beyond and above your control. To receive, in this case, is also to let go: to let go of your preconceived notions, your selfishness and your fear.
Kabala is about harnessing the energy of the universe to benefit humanity, those around you, and yourself. Briefly put, those principles are these:
1. Less is more: Learn to make use of restrictions.
2. Eliminate the process: Simplicity is good.
3. Sharing brings blessings: Transform your natural desire to receive into a desire to share.
While these principles may seem simplistic on the surface, learning how to apply them to your life and your business will bring you the richness that we all imagine for ourselves. And once you come to a place where you can accept these principles as basic truths, you will be on your way to experiencing a truer reality than you ever knew existed.
You don't have to believe in a literal God to understand and apply the Kabala's message to your daily life, although if you believe that you are all that matters, that the whole meaning of life is about you and your desires, you're going to have a hard time with some of the Kabalistic concepts. But if your life is something less than what you want it to be, if you find yourself wondering, "Is this all there is?" and not liking the only answer you can come up with, then I invite you to suspend your disbelief long enough to hear what I have to say, to give some of the actions I suggest a try, and to see what comes next.
