The Harvard Business School's Leadership, Values, and Spirituality Forum.
April 4, 2003
A letter from the conference co-presidents
On behalf of the Leadership, Values, and Spirituality Forum's Executive Committee, it is with great pleasure that we welcome you to the 2003 Forum. Last year, the Leadership, Values, and Spirituality Forum gathered current and future leaders at Harvard Business School for the first major B-school conference on this subject. Participants explored questions about the relationship between our inner lives of values and our outer lives of leadership in our businesses, communities, and the world. Speakers such as Deepak Chopra, Alan Dershowitz, and Bill Pollard came from across the world to share and synthesuze their ideas in an open setting.
We are pleased to announce, our speaker for April 4 is Mike Zapolin.
Mike Zapolin, Music.com's Founder, is the visionary behind such Internet brands as: Beer.com, Computer.com, Creditcards.com, and Diamond.com. Mike has been featured multiple times on NBC's "Today Show," on TV networks ABC, CBS, CNBC, and CNN, and in newspapers and magazines including The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, USA Today, Business Week, and Success. Mike was also recently a featured speaker at Inc. Magazine's "CEO Symposium" and at The Industry Standard's "Net Returns" conference. Mike began his career at Drexel Burnham Lambert, later becoming one of the youngest Vice Presidents in the 100-year history of investment bank Bear Stearns. After leaving to start his own direct marketing company, Z.T.V., Mike created direct response campaigns for clients including The Grateful Dead, Diana Ross, Time Warner, and VH1 Networks.
